  1. I decided to get creative with Kraft card today and a theme of black & goldPhotoGrid_1441809259299
began to appear in the cards. I enjoyed using black and gold craft tapes and embellishments from the classic decadence range.

A created a little collection of CAS cards using the same theme. To the side is one of my favourites and i will share with you the rest over the coming days.

I really love working with the classic decadence range, it goes so well with a number of different papercrafts.

  2. Spritz ink! PhotoGrid_1441809203277
I have fallen in love...with spritz inks!

I have been looking at these on the shelf in the shop for a while now and haven't had chance to give them a go but for some reason they called out to me to be used! I thought i would begin with using them simply on their own to create card backgrounds and i'm really pleased with the effect they give! I went on to use them on journal pages and mixed the colours for different patterns (photos to come in future blog posts!)

To create this super quick card i simply used a spritz ink for the background and some of the new classic decadance range of decoupage images and then finished with a few peel of stars.

    CAS but pretty.

  3. I have been experimenting recently with stamping and colouring. I find myself PhotoGrid_1441450304342
getting more and more into it as i develop my techniques. I now have a box of stamped images ready to colour and a box of coloured images ready to use in different ways whether that be cards, mixed media projects or other papercraft projects.

I was rummaging through the coloured image box when i came across this one, i don't remember when i did it but today i was inspired by it to create a card. (Does anyone else feel inspired by different images on different days, sometimes you feel like working with them and others not?)

Well once i started working with this image i got really into it, i starting adding different embellishments and then taking some away until i was happy. Once happy i put them all together and ended up with this card. I'm really pleased. I loved using beads and roses as a stopped for the easel card.

I think the peel offs work really well on this card, i sometimes find peel offs hard to use but i think i'm getting the hand of them now!

I would love to know what you think of this card as i really took my time in styling it.

If anyone would be interested in reading a tutorial on the way i created it please let me know!

  4. PhotoGrid_1441200352012Simple Stamping

It is safe to say i really am in the swing of things again now!

I am in love with creating again and i can't seem to stop coming up with different ideas to try.

I created this CAS card using a free stamp from a recent issue of creative stamping. I used a blend of blue ink pads and my colourbox foam stamping pads to create the background and then used a black ink pad for the birds on a wire stamp.

  5. Colouring page floral 1

I was in a creative but tired mood and wanted to snuggle up on the sofa, so out came my laptop and for some reason i started creating colouring pages & digi stamps on my laptop using various design programs i had.

I have done some things like this by hand before, which i then turned into colouring pages for myself but i hadn't had a go at doing it on a computer before.

I really enjoyed it, although the day did dissappear!

Here are is one of the designs i created. All are now available to download from my website:
