Hi all … wanted to share a really cute card with you today using the Pippa Penguin stamp set from Imagine Design Create.
He is so cute but I thought we also needed to see where he lived!
I drew an igloo shape onto some scrap card and cut it out to leave a template. I placed the template onto the card and drew the shape with a white gel pen. Then whilst the template was still in place I took a brick stencil from my stash and stamped through it with versamark then heat embossed in white glitter embossing powder, I then took an embossing pen a scribbled underneath the igloo and again heat embossed to create a snow effect. I also stamped the snowflakes and Winter Wishes sentiment in versamark and embossed in white embossing powder.
Onto white card I stamped Pippa with versamark and embossed with black embossing powder to really make him stand out and shine. Then using your colouring pens I coloured in his beak, feet and hat. For the stripes on the hat I drew the lines with a black fine liner pen. I then cut out Pippa leaving just a fine white edge.
When I looked at it then I just thought it needed a little more bling! ..... so I went over the whole background with a Spectrum Noir Clear sparkle pen…that did the trick!
I then matted onto a white layer before attaching to a black card blank.
See you all again soon
