Bird Silhouette & Shooting Stars

Hi Everyone

A fairly quick card from me today using one of my new favourite IDC stamp set ‘Bird Silhouete’.  I use the Happy Birthday sentiment from this set all the time, it stamps well and embossed beautifully and is in a beautiful font! I've combined them here with the gorgeous shooting stars stencils.

I used:

Imagine Design Create Bird Silhouette A7 stamp Set

Imagine Design Create Shooting Stars Stencils

Distress Inks – Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon

Versafine Onyx Black

Water spray

  • I blended the 3 distress inks onto a square of white card (I always use the IDC pre cut mat and layers they are fab!)

  • I lightly spritzed with water and dried using my heat tool

  • I then used the stars section of the stencil and created an arch using the matching distress ink at the top of the card.

  • I used the rays section of the stencil in the bottom 2 corners, again using the matching distress ink

  • I stamped across the bottom using the fly free, fly high sentiments from the stamp set in the matching distress ink

  • Using the Versafine I created an arch using the different sized bird silhouettes

  • Finally I stamped the Happy Birthday Sentiment in the middle in Black Versafine

Lots of crafty love x
