HI again

Today ill like to share with you a gift tag I made using the Doodle tree stamp set from Imagine Design Create.

doodle tree tag

To create the background I used Distress Oxide inks (broken china and cracked pistachio). I put some of the ink direct from the ink pad onto my mat and spritzed with water. Then I took the tag and placed gently onto the watered down ink.  I only do one colour at a time and dry with a heat gun in between layers to avoid bleeding.

Once the background was completely dry I stamped the doodle tree with versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder and again the same process for the Merry Christmas sentiment. I then gently went around the edges of the tag with versamark ink pad to get a thin line of ink around the edges and then heat embossed with the gold powder again.

To finish of  I randomly stamped the small star outlines from the same set in both distress oxide colours and added a gold sheer ribbon.

Here is another tag using the same technique.. just different colours.

See you again soon
