  2. As a subscriber i i don't need to worry about missing out on an issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft as it gets delivered to my door! It is one of my favourite papercraft magazines so i certainly don't want to miss out!

This issue came with a lovely set of festive stamps and an embossing folder. I knew exactly what i wanted to do with one of the stamps as soon as it arrived! As you will know if you follow my creative journey i am loving using inky backgrounds at the moment so the silhouette of santa on his sleigh worked perfectly over the top of a blue sky with glitter snow flakes.

I was also delighted to see that they added a snap of one of my creations using their digi stamps in this issue (I blogged about my creation here It was a lovely unusual digi stamp to use. This months issue also gave a link to where we could download some more fab FREE digi stamps and there was some samples created my the talented Jo Kill. I loved her use of the stamps to create cute little note cards.

Thank you for another great issue Amy Gray and the Simply cards and papercraft team!

  3. PhotoGrid_1444128681736Making cards magazine October issue had some fantastic free papers and images in. I was inspired as soon as i saw them to get creative and found myself playing around with ideas for hours.

One of my favourite cards that came out of my craft session was this white tiger card.

I used a blue ink pad to create the background by rubbing it straight onto the white card blank. Next i added detail with my white spritz ink, rather than using the spray end though i took off the lid and splashed on some dots of ink. I finished the background with some blue dome dots from the Docrafts Denim range. I love how this made the background work for the image.

I really enjoyed the October issue and have been inspired by some of the designers work within the issue too. I really loved Wendy Martins use of the floral papers. I don't often work with pastel colours but the samples she created have inspired me to have a go.

Thank you for another great issue Making Cards!

I've been using the 'Pocket full of posies' range recently to create cards and tags. I love the traditional festive
feel of the papers and die cuts, the sentiments are lovely too.

The great thing with the 'Ultimate paper and die cut' pack is that you can create simple but beautiful cards or you can go all out and create amazing designs as the papers go togehter so well. They also team up well with the other ranges recently released.

To create the cards here i used 6x6 Santoro gorjuss cards and envolopes they teamed up really well with the pocket full of posies die cuts.
